Opening a Seven Eleven in Thailand

After considering opening a SEVEN ELEVEN franchise branch in Thailand, the numbers which cam up revealed how Seven Eleven are making a total abuse of the Thai people, and ruining their market economy;
Here are the statistics for anyone interested in opening a seven eleven in Thailand
2 ways of opening
type b - partner with seven eleven - investment of 1.5 million baht
type c - sole ownership - investment of 2.7million baht
in both cases, one million baht is considered a deposit fee, which is theoretically returnable on end of contract. The remaining amount is to be invested in stock.
Type B partnership will give you a minimum wage of 20 thousand baht a month to a maximum of 40 thousand baht if you sell well.You never get more than 40 thousand no matter how much you sell in a day.

Type C partnership will give you all the profits for yourself (54% Brutto, 24% Netto)
Here is an example of what an averagely well selling store could do;
Sell 40,000 baht a day = 30*40,000= 1,2000,000 a month
Brutto Profit of 24 %=1,200,000*24/100=288,000 baht
share is 54%=288,000*54/100= 155520 baht net profit (1)
Overheads;
Wages of employees (9 people at 6000 baht a month each) = 54,000 baht
Electricity bills = 40,000 บาท
Telephone and other expenses = 30,000 บาท
Sum =124,000 บาท (2)
Note; there may be other expenses such as lost stock, broken equipment, plastic bags etc, but in general the costs will not exceed 150 thousand baht a month. There may however also be other sources of additional income from things like counter service and magazine stands. Any extra funds from such activities would not exceed a maximum of 15 thousand baht (3)
realistic earnings (1)+(3)-(2) = 155520+15,000-124,000 = personal earnings left = 46520baht a month

This estimate is based on a daily take of 40 thousand baht, which is an average estimate taken from real statistics from a shop with 1000 customers a day. The main disadvantage of this enterprise is the fact that seven eleven will automatically open a shop in your vicinity if you exceed sales of around 50 thousand baht a day. The justify this by saying that if they dont; The customers in your shop will become dissatisfied because of waiting in queues The competition will come and open (family mart etc) if not.

There are much better ways to make money with 2.7million baht here in Thailand. Seven Eleven are obviously getting people to pay a million baht to them in order to become employees with a mediocre wage. And the fact that they will  open in front of your face and steal your customers if you do well is atrocious.
They should be boycotted.
