Three Thai Tigers suea Dam, Bai,Mahesworn

Suea Bia, Suea Dam and Suea Mahesworn were three of four of Thailand's most renowned and feared Gangsters. They gained a legendary reputation for being invincible and fighing against large groups of soldiers and police many times, escaping successfully. 60 years ago, these three gunfighters were still public enemies of the state once, but nowadays live peaceful lives in Thailand. One of the, "Suea Dam" is now the abbot of a Buddhist Temple. Suea Mahesworn is now 92 years old, and Suea Bai is 88 years old.
The three ex gangsters appear on a Thai comedy talk show and tell their story a little to their interviewer, famous comedian "Teng".

The fact that Hlwong Por Suea Dam (real monks name - Hlwong Por Tawee Sakd ) was a killer and hunted by the law does not prevent him from becoming a monk. This is something which makes me think of Angulimala, who was a killer of thousands of people before he met the Lord Buddha and converted to Buddhism, was ordained,and eventually became an enlightened Arahant. Suea Dam tells how his parents in Ayuttay had their buffaloes and belongings stolen by a group of  local influential gangsters. Suea Bai then got a gun from his uncle and went to find the group of thugs. He found them, and the young Suea Bai went up to the leader and asked him for a cigarette' The leader then bent down to get a cigarette out of his bag on the floor, and Suea Bai pulled out his gun and shot the fellow in the head.. dead instantly.

The three Highwaymen were actually driven to fight by the injustice of the local influential mafias abusing the poor farmers, so the three Suea went out to fight them. In addition they also were very active in the war, protecting their country.

In the second part (below) Lp Suea Dam is asked which mantra he used to protect himself., and he recites his Kata Kong Grapan. Some of their hand weapons used as they were rebels are also displayed.

Also in the second video, Suea Bai tells how he was caught by the famous Police man (and creator of the Jatukam amulet), Khun Pan. Suea Dam and Khun Pan were often in shootouts but Khun Pan was never able to catch Suea Dam. One time Khun Pan then challenged Suea Dam to a meeting in a field for a shootout one on one, and that if the guns did not hit or go off, that they should stop fighting each other and leave the matter in peace.  Suea Dam wasfatser and more accurate and shot the gun out of Khun pans hand.Khun Pan then held out his hand and said "young man you dont have to shoot, but please, can you stop being a gunman now?".
Suea Dam replied that he could, and three years later was ordained as a Monk. Once when LP Suea Dam was blessing some Jatukam amulets which  had in a begging bowl which he was holding, a photograph came out with the Jatukam amulets floating out of the bowl and hovering in the air. This caused a furor with amulet collectors around the country. This happened 3 years ago, as LP Suea Dam was invited to Wat Huay Mongkol Temple in Hua Hin, to bless some new edition of LP Tuad amulets. As he sat in the sala, waiting to begin the ceremony, a bright white light entered the room and shone on LP Suea Dam. he was then asked to bless the prayer water bowl. As he began chanting, slowly the bowl began vibratiing and the amulets began spinning around and rising up in the bowl of prayer water. the amulets then flew out of the bowl and landed on the floor as LP Suea Dam shouted "move" to the amulets.

You can still visit Hlwong Por Suea Dam at Wat Sri Nuan Tammawimon, in Hnong Khaem, Bangkok municipality. here is the address in Thai for a Taxi Driver;
